We received the solicitation email below today urging us to renew our search engine optimization for our blog. While many might think the email is a friendly reminder, it is actually from a company that is not affiliated with us in any way . We are sharing this to warn businesses about potential solicitation emails that could arrive in your inbox. See the email text below:

Be sure to watch for the word “solicitation” and disclaimers in emails such as this. Because of the statement included, it is not an illegal spam email. If you have any doubt about an email you receive, call the company directly or speak to your IT administrator.
