App of the Week: Evernote vs. Springpad

While we are Evernote enthusiasts, we recently stumbled upon a similar app that might be able to hold it’s own – SpringPad, turn your mobile device into a personal assistant.

Available for multiple devices, such as Android, iTunes, Kindle, Google Play, and online, it expanded on our favorite parts of Evernote. However, depending on what you want to get out of the apps, both might have their specialized audience.
Best feature:
It automatically updates on all devices and can be customized to fit your needs. It also has a built-in search function that scans all your documents, making what you’re looking for easy to find.

Con:
Some of the best features come with the paid version but at the price of $5 per mo or $45 for the year it is definitely worth it!

Best feature:
It’s a personal assistant—Evernote, Pocket, Pinterest and Google combined! It’s a one-stop shop for everything you need. It has board-like features with note-taking abilities.

Con: Doesn’t organize notes well or transcribe uploaded written notes.
Both apps become better and more useful the more often you use them and are great for keeping tabs on content for your online marketing. However, we recommend using Evernote if you are looking for a note-taking app and Springboard if you are looking for more of a personal assistant type of app. Do you use either one of these apps? Which one do you prefer?
