The Keys to Your Social Media Identity

When it comes to managing your social media page and implementing your social media strategy, it’s important to keep in mind that having a social media identity is more than just having a page that looks good.

So what does having a good social media identity look like? Here are three questions your business should ask to see if you are on the right track to having a good social media identity.

Do you have valuable content?

If there are pictures you can take, videos you can make or advice you can give, then you probably already have the content. It’s just a matter of putting it on your social media pages in engaging ways.

Is your social media branded?

Are your pages set up with a generic cover photo and is your profile picture just your logo? There are many different ways to brand your social media pages as a part of implementing your brand into your social media.

Do you keep in touch with your followers?

Another part of identity is how your customers are treated and how they view their experience when visiting your social media sites. Do they feel benefitted by visiting your page? Do they feel comfortable to contact you through social media and confident that their comments or concerns will be heard? Being proactive when it comes to responding to the needs of your audience can play one of the largest roles in the success of your business.

These are just a few of the basic questions to ask yourself about your business’s social media identity. What other aspects do you see at the top of the list of displaying your social media identity?
