What Your Business Can Learn From the New KitKat® Website

Google has recently joined forces with Hershey to name their new Android operating system after the KitKat® bar. Google’s new operating system will be called Kit Kat aka Android 4.4. In the partnership, there will be a number of Android-themed KitKat® bars made and when you buy the bar, you can be entered to win Google prizes, such as the Nexus 7 tablet.

One of the more intriguing parts of the announcement is the new KitKat® website, which has an interactive layout for users to learn more about the new system in a creative way.

CEL Public Relations Graphic Designer Scott Rogers gave his thoughts on the web design of the new site.

It’s a very clever campaign using technology and humor. The style and layout of the website uses the 1-page design and motion based on your scrolling. This is a popular trend in websites today. The graphics are high-resolution and very crisp. The modern, clean design makes it incredibly user-friendly.

Using the “Android” as a mascot, you will most likely peek the interest of kids because of its character or robot design. It also intrigues adults as the Android is a technology that most of us utilize on a day-to-day basis.

Giving your website design and branding an interactive, engaging and modern look can increase interest and draw more customers to your business. What do you think of the new KitKat® website?
