The Saint Louis Art Fair Hits the Streets of Clayton Sept. 5-7

This year’s Saint Louis Art Fair is packed with the finest artwork from across the United States and Canada, award-winning entertainment for the whole family and new ways to bring out the inner artist in everyone. It hits the streets of Clayton Sept. 5-7.

181 artists were selected by a jury of experts, with many of them new to the show this year. They will bring their galleries outdoors for St. Louisans to shop and learn more about their work, covering 13 mediums, including painting, drawing, ceramics, glass, jewelry, and more. It’s a rare opportunity to meet the artist and the inspiration behind the work you purchase. “This one-on-one interaction is something you rarely get in any marketplace,” says Cultural Festivals President and Executive Director Cindy Lerick.

The excitement continues on multiple stages where award-winning storytellers, singers, bands, and dancers will perform for a weekend of non-stop entertainment. And in a first for the Saint Louis Art Fair, you’re invited to watch a chorus of women “Sing for Scholarships” and vote for the singing artist you feel should win. You watch. You vote.  It’s just like being at American Idol Live without having to buy a ticket to Hollywood.

Kids always enjoy the Creative Castle where they’ll find their favorite art projects and a brand new opportunity to create art by shooting paint out of a soda bottle.

“Pleasures of the Palate” returns this year with delicious samplings from some of St. Louis’ finest restaurants.

Art is Our Cup of Tea and you’re invited to sip and enjoy it all weekend long! Continue a tradition or start one at the Saint Louis Art Fair.
