E-City Award – Google That!
Have you heard of Google’s e-city award? It was created to encourage small businesses to take advantage of promoting their products and services online.
As a company committed to helping clients build a strong online reputation with accessible, functional and creative online marketing, we are pleased to see that efforts such as these are being recognized.
Austin, TX was the first city honored with this new award for its tech-friendly environment and strong online business community. According to Google, Austin successfully utilizes the web to help businesses grow.
Next in line is Minnetonka, about to be recognized as the digital capitol of Minnesota!
Today, August 22, 2013, Minnetonka Mayor Terry Schneider is accepting the award on behalf of his fine city at The General Store of Minnetonka. The General Store was selected to host the event because they are an independently owned and operated business. They also have a strong online presence on their website..
Congratulations to the City of Minnetonka for your award and to The General Store of Minnetonka for your stellar business reputation and kind hospitality.
