Creating Lasting-Impacts Through Branding

What began as a local Excelsior-Lake Minnetonka Rotary Club initiative to End Human Trafficking grew into Rotary International’s first-ever cause-based e-club in 2020. Plans went well underway pre-pandemic; and in June 2020, District 5950 Rotary Club to Ending Human Trafficking held its Charter Event. CEL was commissioned to design the club logo and brand and became a charter member of the club.

Caused-based clubs are an area of strategic growth for Rotary International. As younger generations fiercely support organizations that serve humanitarian efforts, the e-club engages members across the globe – reaching a diverse and multi-generational audience with their approaches towards global social issues.

After we developed their logo, our support continued. People are shocked to discover that human trafficking happens in their communities, neighborhoods and cities. An estimated 40 million people are forced into modern slavery every year. It has become increasingly necessary that the club focuses on generating awareness and organizing learning opportunities. January is End Human Trafficking Awareness month and End Human Slavery month. CEL developed a branded social media kit and member engagement strategy with a goal of securing more than 300 registrations for January educational and speaker events (virtually of course).

We are proud to continuously support a club orchestrating impactful change for communities.

"In starting an international, caused-based Rotary e-club to End Human Trafficking, I was so appreciative to work with the CEL Marketing | PR | Design team to make our logo and brand memorable. Our missions and values of bettering communities and ending human trafficking are closely aligned. CEL is a valued member and partner for Rotary."

January is the International Awareness Month for efforts to end human trafficking. Listen and learn from speakers who have witnessed both the supply and demand for child labor, domestic servitude and sex trafficking. This is a local, national and international tragedy.
