CEL Summer Initiative: Noah’s Memorial Classic 2011

Due to the support and generosity of many, Noah’s Memorial Classic 2011 was a significant success for SIDS research. Having never planned a golf tournament before, C.E.L.’s Graphic Designer & Brand Specialist Scott Rogers and his wife, Jenna, hosted the amazing event.  Sponsored by Acceleration Northwest, Noah’s Memorial Classic was held at Fox Hollow Golf Course on Friday, July 22, 2011.

There were 120 golfers who participated in the tournament, and 125 people stayed for dinner, a raffle, over 100 silent auction items and enjoyed live music played by Jerry Rodes after the golf tournament.  With around 300 attendees, the Rogers family was able to raise near $25,000 for SIDS research.  The proceeds have been designated to CJ Foundation for SIDS and Faith’s Lodge.

“Both of these foundations are very near and dear to our hearts and have been a huge support to us over the last 10 months,” said Jenna. “We wanted the money we raised to go to the research of SIDS as well as helping families who have and unfortunately will lose their child in this horrific way.”

C.E.L. sponsored a hole and team members also golfed at the tournament.

“Thank you to everyone who contributed in some way to helping make this event such a success!” said Jenna.  “We are so thankful to everyone for wanting to honor our son. We know Noah would be so proud and that makes us happy.”
