For entrepreneurs Greg and Betsy Amundson, the makers of InstaTrim®, CEL serves as their marketing and public relations team. A flexible caulk alternative and trim solution for home improvement, customers use the self-adhesive PVC strips to cover the cracks between baseboards and floors, windows and doors and more. Branding

In March of 2016, CornerFlex®, Inc. Owners Greg and Betsy Amundson decided to rebrand EasyCaulk as InstaTrim®, carving a less competitive niche market for trimming throughout the house, instead of just bathrooms. They turned to CEL for a new logo, tagline, brand colors and messaging.

Website Design

Optimizing for search, repairing broken links and updating plug-ins, CEL facilitated a website migration from EasyCaulk to InstaTrim.com, incorporating the new brand logo, brand colors and messaging. The project required CEL to secure the InstaTrim.com domain name from a third party, which was a critical move.

Marketing

Knowing content marketing is king, CEL writes up to four blogs a month for InstaTrim.com, each with a complementary photo. The posts feed social media content for Facebook and Pinterest. Across all channels, CEL is laser-focused on brand consistency with packaging, sales sheets, the website, even their presence at the national trade show.

Public Relations

CEL has placed InstaTrim® in the Stuff We Love section of Family Handyman Magazine, one of the top DIY Magazines in the country. In Minneapolis/St. Paul, the company has been featured in the Star Tribune, Finance and Commerce and twice on KARE-TV. Every time the product and company appear in the news, sales soar, with the latest KARE 11 segment sparking a record day of sales.

The effective CEL and CornerFlex®, Inc. collaboration has driven InstaTrim® sales up 900% in just two years as new customers and do-it-yourselfers found the new trim solution.
