Carol Scheer has more than 18 years of television news experience. As Media Relations Specialist, she secures news coverage for CEL clients in the Twin Cities and in markets across the country.  Her extensive news background has given her national contacts and a keen eye for what members of the media are looking for in the stories they cover. Carol’s keen insight results in successful media placements for clients. From Denver, to Minneapolis, to New York, Carol gets clients stories placed in national, local, and trade media. 

Carol began her career producing television newscasts.  After eight years as a producer at the ABC affiliate KSTP-TV and the CBS affiliate WCCO-TV in the Minneapolis-St. Paul market, she moved on to newsroom management.  She was executive producer KSTP and also managed news departments in St. Louis and Denver. Carol is active in her daughter’s school and in the community. Her passion, persistence, and can-do attitude inspire others.
